Constellations in the Forest
"You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here" - The Desiderata, Max Ehrman 1927
Family constellations therapy is a way to externalise, understand, and work with the mental patterns that we all carry with us - learn more
Ecotherapy helps us to see our lives differently through investigating and connecting with the visible and invisible forces at play in the forest.
Family Constellations is explored by Bessel van der Kolk in his ground-breaking book The Body Keeps the Score. He describes a trauma-release process called “Family Tableau” that has helped many military veterans and others review, integrate, and heal from trauma. He describes it as a powerful way to "safely project our inner reality into a space filled with real people, where they can explore [and heal] the cacophony and confusion of the past".
The ecotherapy practice that I follow allows us to safely project our inner reality in the forest, so it is perfectly aligned with FCT.
To bring these two practices together, Family Constellations therapist Hugo MacPherson will join us in the forest on Saturday 25th April. We will be starting at 2pm, finishing around 6pm, and you are all invited.

Places are limited and reserved via the payment link that I will share with you on request, along with our meeting point in the forest. We don’t have to walk far and will be guided by the ability of the group, but please bring suitable footwear and clothing and a water bottle and snack.
Please contact me, Rob, if you would like to find out more and to book your place for this transformative experience.
As far as we are aware, nobody else has combined these two powerful modalities and we are already very excited by the results
